* Workas part of a self-organised engineering team to design and developsoftware features or services that are delightful and vital in ourmission to help Britain prosper.
* Be at theheart of delivery in your team building features with a passion forevolving best practices within yourcommunity.
* Work with the product andengineering leads to achieve the vision and customer outcomes foryour Lab, through writing well-factored and testedcode.
* Be curious about technology andunderstanding how things work. You'll influence positivelydemonstrating the right values and behaviours as we improve how wedeliver.
* You’ll Love to solve Customer’sproblems using technology and engineeringpractices
* You'll lead, direct and shapeapproaches to solving technical challenges and translating businessrequirements into technical solutions.
* Buildefficient and reusable front-end systems andabstractions.
Whatyou’llneed
Essential
* Experienceusing any of the following technologies – React, JavaScript, CSS,HTML, Node.JS, APIs
* Experience with TypeScript,including writing and maintaining statically typedcode
* Architectural application developmentthroughMicroservices
Desirable
* Experienceworking on any one of the cloud-based tools, GCP, Azureor AWS
* Diverse technicalexperience and a proven ability to deliver high qualityapplications at scale
* Agile experience andexcellent problem-solving skills
* Strongexperience of the entire software development lifecycle andexperience in delivery of software.
* You’re ableto effectively communicate and work together across engineering tomaximise inner-sourcing opportunities and reducewaste
