About Us
Rushcliffe Spencer Academy is a highly successful 11-18 comprehensive school located in West Bridgford, Nottingham. Rushcliffe has been judged outstanding in all areas by Ofsted and, in 2021, was reaccredited as a World Class School for the second time.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated leader of our library and resource centre (LRC) who is passionate about reading and understands the positive impact it has on children’s lives. You will need to be knowledgeable about young adult fiction and confident in inspiring pupils to enjoy reading. This role will involve leading a small team of librarian assistants and working with colleagues across the school to support reading. The LRC is at the heart of our school community and the post holder has an important and exciting role in continuing to develop and promote this as a welcoming and inclusive learning space.
