Operations Manager / Production Manager – Permanent - Shrewsbury
L & C Consulting are recruiting with a successful, food processing company in Shrewsbury for a new Operations Manager / Production Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager / Production Manager who wants to join a rewarding, professional company with a good salary and benefits package.
Reporting into the Managing Director, duties will include (but not be limited to):
1. Running a small production and Goods Out team on a daily basis
2. Workload planning and allocation
3. H&S
4. QC
5. Warehousing and stock control
6. General management, training & development, other efficiencies and processes
Relevant applicants should have an adaptable, flexible approach, excellent communication skills, and be a dynamic, team player and motivator. You will ideally have worked in an automated, food processing environment previously and be happy ‘getting stuck in’ with this hands-on role.
You will also be well-organised, IT literate (MS packages, MRP etc.), and have an extremely professional approach to your work.

The Shrewsbury based site is commutable from all parts of Telford, Shrewsbury, Oswestry, Market Drayton, Newtown, Welshpool etc.
