KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Family-Focused Casework:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments, advocate on behalf of family members, carry out structured interventions, and perform
case reviews.
* Facilitate family visits, both in person and online, ensuring meaningful and supportive interactions.
2. Visitor's Centre Support:
* Participate in the rota to provide assistance and support in the visitor's centre, enhancing the visitor experience and
offering guidance.
AIMS:
* Continuity of Care:
* Work on the front line to enhance continuity of care and support for family members, carers, and people in custody.
* Safeguard and promote the health and well-being of prisoners, their families, and significant others during incarceration and
through their reintegration.
* Effective Casework:
* Deliver casework with sensitivity and effectiveness, ensuring all interactions are supportive and respectful.
* Relationship Support:
* Aid prisoners and families in maintaining strong, resilient, and effective relationships that provide lasting benefits.
* Dignity and Respect:
* Ensure that children, families, and prisoners are treated with dignity and respect, and that their voices are heard and
valued.
* Team Support:
* Collaborate with the line manager and the Pact team to achieve objectives and desired outcomes, contributing to a cohesive
and supportive working environment.
