Stainless Restoration Ltd based in Hyde is a Metal surface finishing engineering company that have customers UK and Internationally. Are seeking an experienced Engineering Stores professional to manage and control our stores from start to finish and make it your own with full control. The Role is a hands-on role and would suit someone who is a self-starter, happy to “muck in where needed” and will require a blue-sky thinking approach. • Responsible for controlling the goods in and Out of our facility. • Control of goods that come into us from Suppliers/Subcontractors and customers and designate to the correct department within the facility once booked in. • Acceptance and inventory control of raw materials and ancillary items. • Liaise with other team leaders and management daily to aid production flow and quality control of goods incoming. • Control of the issuing and completion of delivery and receipt documentation. • Movement of raw materials to the storage and manufacturing areas as required. • Daily Liaison with the company’s office administrators to verify and hand over delivery notes etc. • Responsible for monthly material audits and stock controls and information delivery to aid WIP flow through the business and relevant departments. • Responsible for the housekeeping and Health & Safety of the company’s store’s area. • Attend Production Meetings where necessary and support by advising any improvements the department can make. • Maintain and manage tools and equipment ensure they are kept in good working order and arrange any replacements and repairs when required. Personal Attributes. • Excellent communication skills: a high level of verbal and written English is required. • The ability to work to timescales and organise & prioritise the stores responsibilities. • Excellent communication skills: a high level of verbal and written English is required. • Plenty of drive, energy, and determination to improve and put your own stamp on things. • Computer literate, Microsoft Office Packages • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate at all levels. • Flexibility to help in other areas when required and a self-starter. • Experience in a Manufacturing background, ideally Engineering. • A current FLT licence would be distinctly advantageous. • Overtime work as and when required.
