Location of the Job: Depot based – Hampshire.

* This is a permanent full-time position.
* Working 42.5 hours per week.
* Working hours are Monday - Friday 8am – 5pm.
* Weekend rota 1/2 and additional hours during harvest.

The Job Role Details:
We are now looking for an experienced dynamic Service Manager, looking for career development, to take the service business to the next level. As Branch Service Manager, you play a pivotal role in ensuring that the service team delivers exceptional customer service. This multifaceted position requires strong communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a focus on customer satisfaction, particularly during busy periods such as harvest.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the depot's service department reporting to the Operations Director and the Branch Manager. A priority will be to galvanise your team to ensure the company delivers against the key targets: Sales, workshop efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee Service Operations: Manage all aspects of the branch service department, ensuring efficient scheduling, work processing, and timely service delivery.
* Customer Focus: Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service.
* Key Activity Management: Manage essential activities such as WIP, debt, scheduling, breakdowns, vehicle health checks, direct customer contact, and winter service programs.
* Customer Satisfaction: Address customer debt and service satisfaction issues promptly and effectively.
* Team Management: Lead and motivate your team of technicians, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company standards.
* Warranty Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to warranty policies and procedures.
* Out-of-Hours Coverage: Manage out-of-hours and holiday service coverage.
* Talent Development: Recruit and develop technicians, maintaining strong relationships with local agricultural colleges.
* Health and Safety: Actively participate in the Health and Safety committee and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
* Branch Representation: Represent the branch professionally, ensuring a positive and motivated atmosphere.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
* Service Management or Workshop Foreman experience.
* Agricultural/farming industry knowledge.
* Local to the depot.
* Self-motivated, reliable, with excellent interpersonal skills.
* Able to demonstrate a successful track record of winning the respect of both your colleagues, manufacturers, and customers.
