About the Role:
Our client, a friendly and inclusive three-form entry Infant School in Epsom, is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher to join their committed team. Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners across the EYFS or KS1 curriculum.
2. Foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where children feel safe, confident, and motivated to learn.
3. Work closely with year group colleagues in this three-form entry structure to plan, assess, and moderate effectively.
4. Use formative and summative assessment to track pupil progress and inform teaching.
5. Establish strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community.
6. Contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in extracurricular activities and school events.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
2. Experience teaching in EYFS or KS1 (including ECTs with relevant placements).
3. A reflective practitioner who is committed to continuous improvement.
4. Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
5. A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Passionate about early education and supporting children to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
