We are a flexible and forward-thinking organisation with an exciting opportunity within our Property Team for an experienced and motivated Property Manager.
Our team oversees the management of a unique and extensive portfolio, comprising approximately 430 residential properties and 700 acres of land used for farming and development. You will collaborate with our Property Managers to maintain and enhance this varied portfolio across the Diocese.
The Property Manager role encompasses:
1. Undertaking property surveys;
2. Preparing schedule of works;
3. Instruction and supervision of contractors and service providers;
4. Manage and deliver planned maintenance programmes;
5. Review and process of tenant applications;
6. Ensuring premises are compliant with all statutory requirements;
7. Assist in any sale, purchase or lease of properties;
8. Instructing and liaising with solicitors, agents and other consultants;
9. The role offers the right individual the opportunity to work and develop in a progressive and ambitious organisation.
The team is orientated in their approach but expect the team members to operate with a high level of autonomy and self-reliance. The successful candidates will enjoy freedom to get on with their role and work on their own initiative.
You need to:
1. be a suitably experienced and ambitious individual;
2. be capable of working on your own initiative;
3. be able to build relationships with effective communication skills;
4. have a track record in a related area property management;
5. Qualified MRICS – desirable but not essential
The package includes a competitive salary, flexi-time scheme, reimbursement of travelling expenses, an 8% non-contributory pension with an additional 5% matched contributions, hybrid working (50%), and 30 days' annual leave plus bank holidays and four customary days a year (between Christmas and New Year).
