Contracts Manager
Experienced Senior Contracts Manager required to lead the way on all existing and new contracts.
If you have a proven track record in cost estimation, project planning, and contract management within construction projects, this could be the ideal role for you.
The successful candidate will need to pick up on new contracts as well as take over projects that are midway, managing contracts ranging from £1,000 to multi-million-pound projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Cost Estimation: Accurately estimate costs for a wide range of projects, ensuring profitability and competitive pricing.
2. Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budget management, to ensure successful project execution.
3. Contract Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of contracts from initiation to completion, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
4. Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships.
5. Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects meet the highest standards of quality and comply with industry regulations and company policies.
6. Team Coordination: Collaborate with various departments to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
7. Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project progress, financials, and any issues that arise.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Extensive experience in a similar contracts management role within the engineering sector.
2. Strong knowledge of cost estimation, project planning, and contract management principles.
3. Valid CSCS Black Card (preferred)
4. Valid SMSTS / SSSTS certification (preferred)
Salary: £50k+ depending on experience
