Process Support Technologist – 12 to 24 Months Fixed Term Contract

The role provides technical day-to-day support for Orals Manufacturing and Packaging Operations and Systems. This includes provision of troubleshooting support for production processes and equipment, as well as supporting process and technical investigations (including corrective and preventative actions and internal problem notifications). You will also support and own key compliance processes and respond to Customer complaints.
In this role you will:
* Responsible for day-to-day support to the end-to-end site Operations and Systems, providing response with the appropriate sense of urgency, dealing effectively with conflicting priorities, in support of the order fulfilment.
* Provide troubleshooting support for production processes and equipment. Support process and technical investigations, including corrective and preventative actions and internal problem notifications.
* Support and in some cases own key compliance processes and activities aligned to the value stream, including but not limited to, Self-Inspections, deviation management, safety sampling, Risk Management (Local and RMS), Laboratory Investigation / Plant Investigations, CAPA, Customer and Vendor complaints, and planned change.
* Identify opportunities to improve the Worthing Orals Business through robust problem solving and continuous improvement, tracking and ensuring beneficial delivery of corrective actions, preventative actions and minor projects for the department against measurable targets.
* Support inspection readiness and manage Audit activities across the aligned department.
* Ensure correct content is supplied to governance meetings through generation of data for governance packs etc., to enable the department/site to make informed decisions based on data.
Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
* Degree level qualification (or strong equivalent experience)
* Knowledge/understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and operational manufacturing operations (e.g., oral dose forms and manufacturing/packaging processes)
* Ability to communicate to and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
* Computer Literate
