This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in estimating within the fenestration or construction industry, offering a chance to work with top-quality products and develop lasting relationships with contractors, retailers, and commercial installers. As a Sales Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates, reviewing technical drawings, offering expert advice to clients, and ensuring smooth project progression from estimate to delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Provide accurate and timely estimates for aluminium and uPVC windows, doors, and related products. • Handle customer inquiries, offering expert technical advice and clear quotations. • Review technical drawings and specifications to prepare detailed, precise estimates. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, retail companies, and commercial installers. • Liaise with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and smooth order processing. • Follow up on estimates and quotations to close sales and meet company targets. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the full range of products and materials. • Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. • Prepare reports, track project progress, and resolve any issues or discrepancies as needed. Key Requirements: • Proven experience in a sales estimator role, preferably within the fenestration, glazing, or construction industry. • Strong technical knowledge of aluminium and uPVC windows and doors (training provided if needed). • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications. • Experience using estimating software and tools. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail. • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers. • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
