My client who is a high street solicitors who specialises in various sectors is looking for a conveyancing Secretary/ assistant, experience is key for this role.
Office based, Monday-Friday
Full Time Hours
Salary negotiable based on experience
4 weeks holiday + BH
Pension,Christmas Party,away day
Duties include
1. Administrative tasks: Completing paperwork, documentation, and administration
2. Supporting conveyancing searches: Analysing and verifying checks on a property
3. Liaising with clients: Communicating with multiple stakeholders, managing expectations, and taking phone calls
4. Preparing and drafting documents: Audio typing, sending out letters, emails, and faxes, and preparing bills
5. Opening and closing files: Using a case management system called Inteliworks to create and manage client files
6. Assisting with financial duties: Inputting time recording, preparing bills, and checking levels of work in progress
7. Photocopy, print, scan, and organise couriers
8. Monitor post and emails
9. Deal with basic queries and general administration
10. Chase relevant parties
11. Pass information to the conveyancing team
