We have a new opportunity to be part of our Build & Car Assembly team in the role of Composites Build Technician.
As a Composites Build Technician you will provide support in carrying out pre- and post-event composites work as necessary. Working closely with the Race Team and Production Department, you will contribute to project execution and service delivery for each event, ensuring optimal composites part quality and enhancing car performance.
You will be responsible for:
* Assembly of composites components and composites projects across AMR.
* Providing end to end support for the Race Team to ensure all composites assemblies are available on time and as design intention.
* Preparing all composite parts pre and post event and providing a turnaround service as required.
* Providing travelling composite support as required by the Race Team.
* Servicing and maintaining Composite Race Team Pit and Garage equipment during the season.
* Working with Aero Support to ensure all Composite Components are as Aero Intent.
* Reporting composite assembly and manufacturing faults to the relevant Reliability Engineer and interacting with the Quality Department to ensure the best build quality is achieved.
* Carrying out show car builds and maintenance.
* Being prepared to travel at short notice.
* Participating in regular Pit Crew Training.
* Any other duties as reasonably requested aligned to your job role.
What you will need to be successful in this role:
* Previous Composites Laminating and Trim experience in F1 or top-level Motorsport essential.
* Recent Trackside experience advantageous.
* Ability to read and understand detailed CAD drawings essential.
* Self-motivated and able to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment.
* Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales.
* Effective communication skills, positively and respectfully with all colleagues.
* Flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.
* Results-oriented and confident in decision-making skills.
* Enthusiastic and versatile, able to build, develop, and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.

This is a full-time office-based role based at our campus in Silverstone, with additional requirement to travel to other locations where necessary.
