Main duties of the job Lower GI, Urology and Diagnostic Radiology - You will be required to provide an expert opinion in the Lower GI imaging and contribute to the delivery of acute and outpatient imaging services. The Trust provides a huge variety of specialist diagnostic services. At the RVI, there is the Emergency Department and Major Trauma Centre with acute admission of a huge variety of medical and surgical patients and numerous specialist wards including Upper and Lower GI surgery, Endocrinology, Infectious Diseases, Respiratory, Gastroenterology and Immunology. At the Freeman Hospital, we provide the imaging and intervention to Northern Cancer Care Centre, HPB and Hepatology, Urology, Cardiothoracics ENT and the Institute of Transplantation. Other specialist services include sarcoma, neuroendocrine tumour and intestinal failure. Colorectal services are provided on both sites.
