AtkinsRéalis are seeking a Senior Well Engineer with a background in interventions (e.g. wireline, coil tubing, snubbing, completions and workovers) who will play a pivotal role in technical delivery of our growing Energy Storage business, within the Net Zero group.
Your purpose:
You will be part of our expanding Net Zero business, working in our Energy Storage group within our international multi-disciplinary surface and subsurface engineering team.
This role is for a Senior Well Engineer, with demonstrable intervention experience, to lead technical delivery of wells projects for our Energy Storage clients. The working location of the role is flexible but there will be a requirement to undertake site work for extended periods of time at our client locations.
Responsibilities:
* Work closely with clients to build strong and trusted relationships.
* Lead the technical delivery of wells projects, including planning and operational support for well maintenance, interventions and workover operations.
* Use your knowledge and experience of wells to develop solutions to complex technical issues.
* Provide technical direction and leadership to ensure cost-effective and innovative solutions for clients.
* Provide on-site engineering supervision of intervention operations at client sites.
* Engage in the development of the Wells team, sharing and collaborating both technical and safety knowledge.
* Support market growth in the UK and European Energy Storage market.
What you can bring:
* Degree qualified in an engineering discipline and/or equivalent industry experience.
* Technical experience of well intervention engineering.
* Expertise in a wells related discipline (e.g. wireline, coil tubing, snubbing, completions and workovers).
* Knowledge of industry standards and guidelines.
* Demonstrable knowledge of engineering approval practices.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
* Flexibility to travel and work from client sites for extended periods.
