Our Laindon based client works predominately within the construction industry, working on various projects across the UK. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Administrator to join their team. We need a candidate who is organised with great attention to detail and at least three years previous experience from within the commercial/purchasing sector. Key responsibilities: Assisting with procurement processes, including preparing enquiry packs and collating tender information Updating and monitoring subcontractor insurance details Processing interim payments and issuing contra-charges Inputting progress data into valuation systems and preparing sub-contract accruals Ordering materials, checking invoices and handling site requires Chasing deliveries and ensuring accurate record-keeping Our ideal candidate will have the following experience: Strong administrative experience, ideally in a commercial or procurement setting Numerically literate with excellent attention to detail Confident It skills, including Microsoft Office Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks Excellent communications skills, able to liaise with supplies, subcontractors and internal teams This position is office based, Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
