We are looking for an organised, knowledgeable, and driven candidate who will manage the full lifecycle of Barchester’s IT projects on time, in budget, and at a high quality standard. You will work with the project sponsors and key stakeholders across the business to define and deliver the project’s objectives.
This is a permanent, predominantly remote position with occasional travel across the UK, particularly to Inverness and London. We are offering an impressive rewards and benefits package, including:

Required experience and qualifications:
1. Extensive, demonstrable experience in an IT project management role in a large complex organisation
2. Demonstrable experience in both agile and waterfall project methodologies
3. Formal project management qualification, Prince 2, APM, Agile or equivalent
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Full UK driving licence, with the flexibility to travel when required
Role and responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage all project activities from initiation to delivery, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables
3. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
4. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
5. Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and senior management
6. Provide sound technical expertise and guidance on IT content decisions related to the project
7. Create strong relationships with key stakeholder groups to ensure appropriate resources are engaged
8. Ensure key Project governance deliverables are established across all projects
