Management Accountant
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Location: Rhyl, North Wales (1-day remote working per week)

Key Objectives of the Role
1. Coordination and production of the periodic management accounts for assigned Group entities.
2. Effective business partnering, providing timely and insightful information and analyses to aid in decision support.
3. Preparation of local statutory accounts and tax returns.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare monthly management accounts for subsidiary companies according to the periodic timetable.
2. Conduct variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on results.
3. Periodically review and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
4. Produce local statutory accounts, including preparing supporting schedules, liaising with local advisers in multiple countries, and resolving queries.
5. Prepare and submit overseas direct and indirect tax returns, liaising with external tax advisors as needed.
6. Build relationships and collaborate with Operations colleagues to offer effective business partnering, advice, and management information to aid decision-making.
7. Conduct commercial appraisals for new and existing business ventures.
8. Ensure all entries are appropriately coded and processed efficiently and accurately.
9. Liaise with Group auditors for the annual Group audit and local country auditors.
10. Facilitate, coordinate, and deliver annual budgets and forecasts for areas of responsibility.
Skills, Experience and Qualities
1. Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA, QBE or equivalent.
2. Ability to confidently present and explain financial information to non-financial colleagues.
3. Excellent IT skills including extensive use of Excel and accountancy packages.
4. Experience of working for a multi-national company in a Finance capacity and/or with multi-currencies is desirable.
