A secondary school in Basingstoke is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring teacher to engage students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering an exciting and practical curriculum that promotes essential cooking skills, nutrition, and a passion for food.
The Role:
* Plan and deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons across KS3 & KS4.
* Teach students essential cooking techniques, nutrition, and food science.
* Ensure students develop confidence and independence in the kitchen while understanding health and safety procedures.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Maintain a well-organised and safe learning environment, managing resources effectively.
* Support extra-curricular activities related to food and nutrition.
