We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Staff Nurse (RGN) to join our dedicated team in our Nursing Home. Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct care to residents, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being at all times.
* Conduct medication rounds, ensuring that all medications are administered accurately and on time.
* Collaborate closely with the Deputy Manager and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalised care plans for residents.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for both staff and residents.
* Assess, plan, and evaluate the care needs of residents, ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice.
* Provide leadership and guidance to healthcare assistants, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the shift.
* Ensure NMC standards are upheld and that you remain compliant with care regulations and protocols.
* Complete clinical documentation and maintain accurate records as required by the nursing home.
* Work independently during day shifts, taking responsibility for your own caseload and nursing duties.
* Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the wider team to promote a caring and nurturing environment.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) in a nursing home or hospital setting.
* Valid NMC Pin with no restrictions.
* Experience in medication rounds and handling prescribed medications safely and accurately.
* Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision during day shifts.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the Deputy Manager and the multidisciplinary team.
* Knowledge and experience of working within the Nursing Home sector, with a commitment to delivering person-centred care.
