Event Coordinator - Permanent / Full time - Bedfordshire

Fusion is looking to hire an experienced Event Coordinator for a full time, permanent position within their Event Production department. This is a fantastic, entry level opportunity to join a leading full-service agency with over 35 years’ experiential marketing and events experience. This is currently a hybrid position, working full-time, Mon - Fri combining a minimum of 3 days in the office in Bedfordshire and 2 working from home if preferred, dependent on a busy event diary!
Main Responsibilities:
* Event administration support across the whole of the event production team.
* Researching costs and assisting with proposals.
* Logistics support, which may include travel and accommodation booking.
* Supporting on a variety of projects across the year, including onsite support when required.
* Liaising with contractors and suppliers, where appropriate.
* Occasional delegate management including registration.
* Communicating with all Fusion teams, including off site at our warehouse in Milton Keynes.
Qualities and competencies:
* A confident communicator (both verbal and written), capable of building strong, supportive relationships both internally and externally.
* Proficient with Microsoft packages.
* Some experience of supporting on events and / or exhibitions previously.
* A versatile, organised and flexible working nature with excellent multi-tasking skills.
* Great drive, enthusiasm and a "can do" attitude at all times.
* Positive work ethic and willingness to learn.
* Attention to detail and work to a high standard. Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
* Resourceful, self-starting and excellent use of initiative.
* Full UK Driving Licence - no more than 6 penalty points.
* Calm under pressure.
* Flexible to travel and stay overnight if required for onsite support.
* Minimum of 1 years experience in similar role.
