Looking for QA candidates experienced in testing applications in functional and non-functional areas (API, usability, security, and performance) with strong coding skills. The QA Engineer will work with multiple stakeholders across functions and geographies to ensure the quality of the sync platform across an array of supported devices.
Quality Assurance Engineers at Amazon test cutting-edge applications and products at both the user level and code level, manually and using automated tools. Our QAEs are not pure black box testers; they understand software internals, debug problems using log files, and write automated tests with scripting and/or user-level automated tools. QAEs at Amazon are excellent individual contributors capable of taking tasks from start to completion with minimal help. They will be responsible for understanding the domain and product in detail, developing the test strategy/planning, creating test cases, driving the test case sign-off processes with stakeholders, contributing to code-level unit tests, test execution, and reporting.
