Position: Site Operative
Location: Northampton
Are you a hardworking, reliable individual with a passion for maintaining clean and safe environments? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated School Site Operative to join our team and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of one of our clients schools.
Key Responsibilities:
1. General maintenance and upkeep of school buildings and grounds
2. Assisting with site security, including opening and locking up the premises
3. Conducting minor repairs and liaising with contractors when needed
4. Ensuring the school is clean and safe for students, staff, and visitors
5. Supporting with event setups and equipment moving
6. Reporting any health and safety concerns
What We're Looking For:
1. Previous experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential)
2. Practical skills for basic repairs and maintenance
3. Strong work ethic, reliability, and good time management
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Good communication skills and a positive attitude
6. Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for children
