The Role
This is a full-time and permanent opportunity to join our warehouse team based in Marchington. Working closely with the QC Team Lead, this role plays a key role in supervising our Cleaning, QC and Refurb teams, supporting them on a day-to-day basis to ensure that units are refurbished, cleaned, quality checked and ready for hire. Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising the team on a day-to-day basis to delegate tasks and solve operational and quality issues
* Planning the collation of equipment for delivery well in advance and working closely with the project management team in head office to meet operational requirements
* Highlighting and implementing areas of continuous improvement to improve operational efficiency
* Following and promoting health and safety procedures to ensure the welfare of yourself and those around you
* Scanning assets onto internal systems and monitoring all movement of equipment
* Assisting with relocation of units across the warehouse
* Ensuring all collections are checked for completeness
* Assisting with loading vehicles and dispatching the assets
* Ensuring equipment is provided in good time for dispatch
* Ensuring the safe and effective use of warehouse storage space
* Ensuring the use of storage space and racking is maximised
* Supporting the wider warehouse team when required.
Skills & Experience:

Essential
* Demonstrable experience of supervising or motivating team members towards a common goal
* Proven experience of assisting with or leading the implementation of organisational efficiencies and operations
* Strong work ethic
* Self-motivated and proactive in using own initiative
* Strong team ethos
* Computer literacy
* Working level of English
* Must be able to bend, stoop, walk and stand for prolonged periods of time
* Must be able to climb and work from ladders and in confined spaces safely
* Must be able to move and lift heavy equipment
Desirable:
* Forklift driving qualification – training can be provided to those with no qualification
* IOSHH/NEBOSH qualification
