Gray is looking to add an Assistant Market Controller to the team in our Lexington, KY office.

Who we want… (Requirements)
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in accounting or finance and seven plus (7+) years of relevant experience in construction accounting. GAAP revenue recognition, WIP calculations, job cost and CMIC/Procore software experience highly preferred.
Must possess advanced computer skills, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, electronic mail and other Microsoft Office applications.
Two plus (2+) years managing team members preferred.
CPA and/or CCIFP designation is a plus.
The team member must be physically located in the Lexington office. Occasional overnight travel will be required.

What we expect… (Essential Functions)
* Responsible for financial reporting of executed projects from job award to close out for assigned markets.
* Prepare month-over-month forecasting analysis for review with Market.
* Conduct detailed forecast research at both the job and category.
* Compile and analyze project profit opportunities and fade threats, and present findings to Market Controllers.
* Prepare monthly percent complete run rate analysis, identify trends, and present findings to Market Controllers.
* Participate in forecast (Red File) reviews for assigned markets.
* Lead monthly CMiC forecasting trainings and update SOP’s and presentations. Serve as CMiC forecasting subject matter expert for project teams.
* Work collaboratively with project teams and accounting department to ensure that accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll are in accordance with company standards and help resolve any discrepancies.
* Assist Market Controllers in preparing monthly entity-level forecasts and scenario modeling (Market Planning Tool and FTE modeling).
* Support Market Controllers in validating project profit profiles and communicating company standards (As-Sold and Bid Item Import validation).
* Serve as the primary backup to the financial prequalification analyst and assist in the subcontractor financial prequalification process.
* Collaborate with Job Cost team members to resolve issues and emphasize continuous improvement.
* Other duties as assigned.

This position will have supervisory responsibilities of other team members within the accounting department.
