The Team Lead P-8A Supply Chain role is responsible for the performance and service delivery of the Airbus Operations, Material Support & Logistics (MS&L) Supply Chain team. As the focal point for all MS&L activities required to meet service and tactical delivery, you will exercise your extensive communication, team building and problem-solving skills to achieve platform steward outcomes with a best for weapon system/best for customer mindset.
Reporting to the Airbus Manager P-8A Service Delivery and operationally to the Boeing P-8A Supply Chain Manager you will lead a team of inventory controllers and warehouse personnel. Your primary function is to ensure their services are delivered with the appropriate rigor to implement and maintain the P-8A Supply Chain, satisfying customer and contractual performance requirements. You will develop and maintain cooperative team behaviours with a view to strategic delivery of cost-effective supply support services through to planned withdrawal date.
Responsibilities:
* Management of Australian Defence Force (ADF) Sonobuoys
* Management of the Cooperative Program (CP) Breakdown Spares and Repairable Items Supply Chain within the Military Inventory System
* Management of the non-CP Breakdown Spares and Repairable Items Supply Chain within the Military Inventory System
* Management of assigned Commonwealth funds and stock entitlement allocations
* Management of Supply Chain aspects of the Performance Framework
* Management of CP/ADF Supply Chain interfaces, policies and procedures
* Actively support P-8A Leadership and management of all P-8A enterprise stakeholder relationships (CP, NAVSUP, 92WG/SRG, 11SQN, SRSPO)
* Plan and manage resources, interdependencies, and competencies to meet demand forecasts from the P-8A Program.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or similar
* Extensive experience in the management of staff and leadership of high performing teams
* Ability to influence and contribute to the development of the service delivery strategy
* In depth understanding and exposure to inventory and logistics processes applicable to a Defence environment
* Understanding of the regulatory compliance requirements of the Aviation industry (e.g., DASR, CASA, EASA, NZCAA, FAA, ITAR, export and import controls) - specifically how they pertain and are applied to spares and supply chain management
* Relevant Defence training or experience in Supply or Aviation trade groups
