We are seeking a Head of Distribution to lead and optimise our multisite logistics operations, ensuring cost efficiency, high performance, and regulatory compliance across our network. You'll play a key role in shaping and delivering strategic plans to drive productivity, manage cost and drive continuous improvement.
The heart of the role
1. Lead and drive performance, quality, and regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of excellence.
2. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance logistic productivity, reduce costs, and meet quality objectives.
3. Manage relationships and contracts with logistic service providers (LSPs), ensuring adherence to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.
4. Play a key role in the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the development and execution of group-wide strategies and company improvement initiatives.
What makes you tick
1. Outstanding leadership capabilities with the determination and drive to achieve challenging targets.
2. Prior experience managing multisite logistics operations with significant route optimization experience.
3. Excellent impact and influencing skills, along with strong verbal, numerical, and written communication abilities.
4. IOSH or CPC qualifications.
5. Prior exposure to 5S, 6 Sigma, Lean, or Kaizen models desirable.
