About The Role
CAGE is an established research centre based in the Department of Economics at the University of Warwick, recently awarded £7.1 million by the Economics and Social Research Council (ESRC) to continue its research programme for the next five years.
This Research Assistant (CAGE) position will assist Dr Amrita Kulka and Dr Nikhil Datta in the execution of their Big Data project “Planning and the UK Housing System”. The project examines multiple dimensions of the UK housing and planning system, addressing various policy-relevant questions.
The start date is flexible, and the contract will be for 18 months with scope for discussion.
About You
We require an individual who has an interest in the research area, is proactive, and willing to work as part of a team. Responsibilities include assisting with the construction, cleaning, manipulation, and analysis of Big Data, conducting literature reviews, and working closely with Dr Kulka and Dr Datta to disseminate project outcomes and draft presentations, reports, and academic papers.
You will have completed a master's degree in Economics by the start date. In exceptional cases, we might consider a candidate with a completed bachelor's degree.
