We are looking for a Learning Support Worker to join our Learning & Development team at Northumbria Healthcare.
The successful applicant will support the team with workforce development activity, supporting projects linked to non-mandatory training and education activity. Within the team, you will support the administration of the team, setting up courses, providing support and advice and reporting on training activity. There will be opportunities to be involved in planning and delivery of training.
The successful applicant will also manage the teams email inbox as well as using various systems. Training will be provided if required. You will be confident, motivated, pro-active and committed with a can-do attitude.
• To provide and support the best development for our people.
• To provide information, advice and guidance to service users linked to People Development needs.
• To support the development of people development programmes, activities and projects in response to organisational needs.
• To work in close collaboration with managers and staff to provide first line support and analysis of people development programmes, activities and projects.
• To support and contribute to the delivery of projects and strategies, in order to provide a high quality service and ensure the organisation meets a range of key performance indicators.
• To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust. This means demonstrating a consistent leadership style which (a) engages, enables and empowers others (b) uses coaching to promote ownership of learning and quality improvement and (c) facilitates team working and collaboration within teams/departments and across organisational boundaries.

Knowledge of Microsoft packages with advanced ms-excel skills, as well as the ability to adapt and analyse data. Knowledge of a range of people development procedures, acquired through relevant training and experience. Experience in developing learning content in a range of different ways. Experience managing own and others workload and schedules. Experience networking with a range of professions and institutes
Excellent skills in communication, presentation and customer service. Level 2 Functional skills, including literacy, mathematics and digital skills (see Information resources below). Holds a valid driving license and is either a car owner or able to use a car for work purposes.
