Responsibilities & Duties:
1. Six weekly inspections
2. Routine maintenance & servicing
3. Pre-MOT inspections & presenting for MOT
4. Breakdowns, including roadside
5. Diagnosing of vehicles using diagnostic equipment
6. Advanced repairs covering hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical
7. Electronic record keeping for all works conducted
8. Working as part of a team with existing technicians & transport manager
Skills & Experience:
1. Ability to maintain an organized & tidy working environment, both physical & administrative
2. Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic fault finding and repair
3. A flexible approach to workload allowing for “firefighting”
4. Must be observant & work to ambitious standards
5. A positive attitude & a team player
6. Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
7. HGV license is an advantage
8. Diagnostic experience
Role Details:
1. Permanent & full-time position
2. Core hours 07:30 – 17:00 Mon-Fri
3. This role will require hours to be worked beyond core hours at the company’s discretion
4. Immediate start date
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.49 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
