Our client is a leading training and development business which operates in the UK and Internationally. They provide a range of learning and training delivery across their constituent brands and services, including e-learning content and learning management systems.
They are now seeking the new role of Managing Director – Learning Solutions. This role has been created to build on, grow, and provide high-quality blended learning to employers and individuals in their sectors.
The MD will have key responsibility for business development and delivering both the top-line and bottom-line for the Division. The MD will develop the forward strategy for the Division, driving a customer acquisition strategy through the identification of emerging customer needs and the development and delivery of innovative high-quality learning solutions.
For this role, we are seeking a senior candidate from the training and learning sector (including e-learning), who will be able to directly influence product development, client relationships, and new business opportunities. This is an outward-facing role, and we are seeking candidates who will lead this new business unit with full P&L responsibility.
The successful candidate will have a track record of driving growth and will offer up-to-date technology knowledge, understanding the impact of digitalisation and AI on the training sector. They must be aware of market dynamics and trends and be on top of new initiatives. They and their team will sell blended in-person and online courses while constantly scanning for new opportunities around innovation, products, and trends.
