Our client is seeking a Nursery Chef to take charge of the kitchen at their friendly and welcoming early years setting. This is an exciting opportunity to create healthy, nutritious, and delicious meals for young children, ensuring they receive the best start in life. As Nursery Chef, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, preparing fresh, balanced meals for children under 5, including those with allergies and special dietary needs. You will manage menu planning, food costing, purchasing, and safe storage, ensuring all meals are prepared to the highest standards of hygiene and nutrition. What You’ll Need Cook-in-charge experience, including menu planning, food costing, purchasing, and storage Experience in catering for children in a nursery, school, nursing home, or hospital kitchen Knowledge and experience of food allergies and special dietary requirements Supervisory experience, with the ability to manage a kitchen effectively Valid Food Hygiene Certificate A passion for providing nutritious and appealing meals for young children What’s in it for You?
