Chef de Partie to Junior Sous Chef

We’re on the lookout for a skilled and enthusiastic chef—from Chef de Partie up to Junior Sous Chef level—to join our talented kitchen team. Whether you're an experienced CDP ready to step up, or already operating at Junior Sous level, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow within a dynamic and values-driven kitchen.
You’ll take responsibility for your section (and more if you're stepping in at Junior Sous level), ensuring dishes are executed to our exacting standards with consistency and flair. We're passionate about fresh, seasonal produce and conscious food practices—and we’re looking for someone who shares that vision.
Salary & Progression:
* Chef de Partie roles start from a base salary of £34,000, plus service charge (average £6,000).
* Total package increases with experience and seniority, with higher salaries available for those stepping in at Junior Sous level.

Staff Accommodation:
We offer a range of accommodation options in the local village and in Chipping Norton, with reasonable financial support available for relocation.
Key Responsibilities (vary slightly by level):
* Lead your section confidently, preparing dishes in line with our menu specs.
* Assist or oversee daily kitchen operations depending on your experience level.
* Maintain fresh, organised mise en place (MEP) for each service.
* Uphold high kitchen hygiene and health & safety standards.
* Support and mentor junior team members.
* Contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen culture.
* Help drive our sustainability goals and B Corp mission—making a positive impact on people and the planet.
What We’re Looking For:
* A passion for cooking and quality produce.
* Experience running a section in a fresh food kitchen.
* A calm, focused presence in a busy service.
* Strong teamwork and leadership qualities.
* An interest in sustainability and ethical sourcing is a bonus.
* Junior Sous Chef experience is welcome but not essential—we’re happy to support the right candidate in stepping up.
