We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Production Specialist to join our newly expanding creative team. This role requires a hands-on professional responsible for all aspects of video production, from concept development to final edits.
You will work closely with the Creative Manager, and both the internal communication and marketing teams to produce engaging video content that aligns with campaign goals and our corporate brand. You will work on an exciting range of projects producing captivating corporate and marketing videos to communicate our messages and preparing engaging motion graphics and animations. Reporting directly to the region’s creative lead this multi-faceted role not only relies on impeccable creative talent and attention to detail but also on good project management as you will be working on multiple projects at any one time.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with the Creative Manager and marketing and internal communications colleagues in pre-production planning, ideas creation and story-telling strategy.
* Advise on, assist with, and create video storyboards where needed.
* Prepare ‘first cut’ versions of filmed footage based on briefs and an understanding of core messages and business objectives.
* Respond to feedback on drafts, making or challenging suggested changes and then proceeding to apply all agreed edits of filmed footage to prepare final versions.
* Manage the upload and storage of footage into all appropriate company systems and channels.
* Design and create video assets for internal and external social media, from short ‘talking head’ videos to animated videos and gifs.
* Use and evolve our visual identity and approaches for our internal facing audience.
* Work closely with other creatives internally and with select external vendors to ensure the best outcome for the business with video assets.
* Look out for the latest trends to help the business produce top quality video, and have superb technical skills with a willingness to adapt to new processes and approaches.
* Champion the brand to help drive standards and consistency across all videos, ensuring the corporate brand and technical excellence standards are properly represented in all outputs.
Person Specification
* Demonstrable experience of working in a video production role.
* Proficiency across the entire Adobe creative suite with expert knowledge in Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
* Excellent knowledge of relevant video theory and best practice.
* Understand and follow video scripts and produce video storyboards where needed.
* Passion and experience in creating attention grabbing videos (e.g. talking heads, interviews, location).
* Understanding of photography and image editing as well as videography.
* Comfortable working within corporate guidelines.
* Strong attention to detail, fully able to produce accurate and proof-checked content.
* Produce ‘business as usual’ content efficiently and to expected deadlines.
* Proactively manage deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.
* Good communicator and collaborator, able to form good relationships across the function.
* Confident in taking briefs, ensuring clarity/understanding of the task, with successful execution.
* Film/creative/design or related degree, or other qualification from an appropriate body.
* Experience or some understanding of operating video equipment (camera, lighting, mics, etc) for video production.
* Experience and/or understanding of Adobe Audition, colour grading and lighting.
* Experience of working in a medium to large sized marketing function or agency.
* Highly organised and able to work with multiple stakeholders and colleagues on a variety of tasks simultaneously and keep stakeholders informed about progress.
* Flexible to work to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
