Are you detail-oriented, have a knack for effective communication, and are passionate about maintaining high compliance standards, then we'd love to hear from you Join our dynamic asset rental business as a Compliance Controller and play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our fleet operations As a key team member, you'll oversee compliance events for our rental vehicles and company assets, ensuring all legal requirements are met within strict deadlines. Position Overview: As Compliance Controller your responsibilities will include managing service levels for our valued customers, keeping them informed about repair updates and service bookings, and promptly addressing any issues by coordinating with the Operations Manager. You'll ensure minimal asset downtime while keeping a tight rein on expenditure. Compliance Controller will be responsible for: Handling incoming calls from hire fleet customers, ensuring professional and efficient service Communicating repair updates and compliance bookings to customers, minimising any inconvenience and asset downtime Monitor fleet compliance schedules in computerised maintenance systems. Capture all fleet compliance requirements in reporting systems; escalate overdue events. Report on annual MOT, LOLER, and Tank tests; coordinate with repair agents and communicate bookings. Update maintenance system upon event completion; ensure all compliance paperwork is received. Generate reports for upcoming compliance events in advance. Action and complete all reported defects promptly. Plan and schedule compliance events; control and authorise expenditure. Issue repair orders to third-party agents within rate agreements. Record repair updates in maintenance system; close off jobs in real-time with response codes. Identify damage to hire fleet equipment; manage rechargeable items and repair estimates. Ensure prompt processing of warranty repairs and adherence to manufacturer warranty processes. Liaise with Parts department for efficient repair part availability. To be successful Compliance Controller will hold: Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably from a fleet, Asset or rental industry however not essential Have a great level of communication skills and customer service with the ability to demonstrate the values and ethics of Dawsongroup Have a flexible and adaptable approach to your role and be able to work well on your own initiative with minimum supervision.
