The Best Connection are looking for Class 2 night drivers to work for our popular client based in Bramley. This will be ongoing work until January 2025.
Duties will include completing double man deliveries to stores in Leeds City Centre overnight, keys to be provided for each store. There will be a requirement to manually unload your vehicle to complete the deliveries which will include cages, totes and baskets. As this is a double manned route, there may be extensive times when you aren't actually driving but the pay rate remains the same when driving and when not driving.
The client can offer a 4-on / 4-off shift pattern with a permanent position offered at the end of a trial period.
The hourly rate offered is £20.71 per hour PAYE + holiday pay.
Shifts will start at 2030 daily, and will last around 10 hours each, although this may vary due to traffic conditions and roadworks.
A driving assessment will be required (on Tuesday 30th July to start training the following day) and basic food safety training will be provided. Applicants should have no more than 3 endorsement points for minor offences only.
