About Our Client
Our client is a respected entity within the renewable energy sector based in Edinburgh.
Job Description
3. Manage biweekly/monthly payroll processes; prepare payroll submissions for the outsourced providers, and thoroughly review and reconcile changes for these payrolls.
4. Data entry for the inhouse UK payrolls.
5. Liaise with vendors, advisers to ensure the processing of payrolls.
6. Co-ordinate with international payroll counterparts to ensure smooth transactions for transferring/ expatriate employees.
7. Support the annual compensation/ salary & bonus process. Conduct thorough checking to ensure the accuracy of data in payroll.
8. Administer the annual adjustments/ increases to payrolls for salary and bonus purposes.
9. Compile, reconcile and submit monthly pension returns.
10. Assist with UK tax year end.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Specialist should have:
11. A strong understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws.
12. Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
13. Excellent communication skills.
14. High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
15. Proficiency in using payroll software.
16. Strong problem-solving skills.
