We are looking for an EHS Specialist to support the Manufacturing organization, predominantly at our Teesport site, but with some regular travel to our other UK sites. This is a great opportunity to further develop EHS experience in a varied role.

In this role you will be responsible for:
1. Supervising the implementation, development and maintenance of health, safety and environment programmes according to company standards and local regulations.
2. Evaluating and assessing the organisation's production processes, systems and technology and recommending changes that will improve safety and reduce environmental impact of the organisation’s operations.
3. Conducting EHS audits to identify risks and development opportunities, and for co-ordinating ISO14001 and ISO 45001 processes.
4. Developing, co-ordinating and providing training in EHS topics to ensure employee understanding with the organisation’s policies and standards.
What you’ll bring to the team:
1. NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification and willingness to develop professionally.
2. High level of organisational skills, combined with EHS experience ideally in an industrial manufacturing environment.
3. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both written and verbally.
4. Able to problem solve, demonstrate initiative and plan ahead.
5. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), web-based database systems.
