How you'll make an impact The Head of Finance will report directly to the CEO, leading the finance function with a focus on strategic planning, financial control, and commercial decision-making. With an exciting growth trajectory ahead, this role is integral to ensuring long-term financial sustainability and business success. Key Responsibilities Drive the financial strategy of the business, providing insights and recommendations to support commercial decisions and growth initiatives. Lead the transition to an advanced financial system, moving away from Sage to improve financial reporting and real-time insights. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to ensure financial sustainability. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, operations, and marketing, to align financial performance with business strategy. Implement and enhance financial processes, systems, and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy. Provide the senior leadership team with data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. Act as a key contact for external accountants, managing financial reporting and compliance requirements. Why we're excited about you We are seeking a finance leader with both strategic vision and a hands-on approach. You will be a confident communicator who can challenge stakeholders and drive efficiency across the business. ACCA, CIMA qualified, or QBE with strong financial leadership experience. Proven expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. A commercially minded leader who can balance cash flow management with growth initiatives. Strong systems and process improvement experience, with a track record of driving efficiency. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at all levels, including board-level discussions. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, taking a proactive and solutions-driven approach.
