Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to join the Cancer and Aseptic Services team. This post will offer you a fantastic opportunity to experience many aspects of Cancer Services including working in the innovative pharmacy-led myeloma clinic and contributing to multi-disciplinary ward rounds for both haematology and solid tumour oncology patients. You will be uniquely placed to provide excellent patient care to oncology and haematology patients, whilst working alongside the Aseptics Team. Main duties of the job The post-holder will be a specialist practitioner in adult haemato- and solid tumour oncology and be professionally and managerially responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care to Cancer Services at KCH - PRUH. The role will involve clinical screening of inpatient and outpatient Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies (SACT), providing clinical ward cover to haematology wards and working as part of an MDT making decisions about best care for our patients. The post holder will work collaboratively with the King's Aseptic Unit to ensure safe and effective provision of medicines to oncology and haematology patients.
