Job Purpose
The job purpose of a warehouse operative is to efficiently handle, store, ensuring quality of the product, accurate order fulfilment and inventory management. They maintain a safe and organised warehouse environment while adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
Accountabilities
* Record and report any issues to the warehouse manager.
* Store products in designated locations within the warehouse.
* Ensure proper labelling and organisation of goods for easy retrieval.
* Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
* Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch according to customer specifications.
* Ensure that all products are handled with care to maintain product quality.
* Use inventory management systems to update order status and stock levels.
* Monitor the quality of products during storage and handling.
* Report any quality issues to the relevant department for resolution.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the warehouse.
* Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment to prevent accidents.
* Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
* Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
* Work closely with other warehouse operatives and departments to ensure smooth operations.

Knowledge, Qualifications and Experiece
* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred, especially within the vape e-liquid or related industries.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
* Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 Kg).
* Stamina to stand and walk for long periods.
* Dexterity to handle small and delicate products.
* Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
* Use of PPE required for certain tasks.
* FLT/ Bendi Truck Licence
Decision Making
* Decide if something presents a Health and Safety or Quality risk therefore stopping a process
* Whether to consult with senior management on issues / queries
* Using your own initiative to complete the tasks required ensuring everything is done on time and to the standards expected.
Job Type: Full-time
