Job Description
SC Cleared Technical Architect - 6 months+ - £800-850pd Inside IR35 - Mostly remote with occasional travel to (London/Croydon)
My client is a leading consultancy looking for an experienced Technical Architect.
Key Competencies:
* Virtualisation platforms (Hyperconverged Infrastructure, particularly the Azure Stack HCI).
* Windows server and Linux-kernel based operating systems.
* Operating system and application deployment.
* Network switching, routing, and firewalls.
* Infrastructure and application management and monitoring tooling such as Microsoft Configuration Manager and PowerShell.
* Application architecture.
* An understanding of architectural integration patterns.
* Integration of operational technology such as cameras and detection equipment.
* Understanding of wider Law Enforcement technologies and major systems that some of the operational technology will need to integrate with/be compatible with (ANSI/IEEE N42.42 file type).
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead stakeholder relationship management with Authority third-party suppliers.
* Provide input such as high-level descriptions and solution overviews for Service Readiness reviews.
* Work with the Authority to define Functional and Non-Functional requirements for architectural solutions.
* Undertake assurance for testing activities, enabling the accuracy of test case content and testing closure reporting.
* Support the Authority in reviewing technical and service documentation such as High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and Technical notes.
* Work with the Authority to produce new and/or updated technical documentation, including HLD and LLD, adhering to technical governance processes such as Technical Design Authority (TDA) in response to new requirements or changes.
* Where required, collaborate with the Authority's third-party support provider to produce HLD for systems such as SCOM, MSSQL, Container, and Virtual Machine.
* Review existing business processes and requirements, working with the Authority to produce technical designs compliant with strategy, principles, and standards.
* Where required, provide design and architectural input to wider I&HSGIT projects.
* Support the Authority in reviewing service-related incidents that may occur in Production environments.
Work with the Authority and their suppliers to provide support with IT Health Check (ITHC) processes, including the development of ‘Target of Evaluation’ documentation and any resulting remediation actions.
