Location: Secondary School in Waltham Forest
Position: Full-Time, School Nurse
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Are you a compassionate, experienced healthcare professional ready to make a difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated School Nurse to join our secondary school community in Waltham Forest. In this role, you will support the physical and emotional well-being of our students, providing crucial healthcare services and promoting a safe and healthy environment.
School Nurse Key Responsibilities:
* As a School Nurse, you will provide first aid, emergency care, and health assessments to students as needed
* Administer medications and oversee care plans for students with specific health needs
* Conduct health education sessions and promote health and wellness initiatives
* Liaise with parents, teachers, and external health agencies to support students' health and well-being
* Maintain accurate health records in line with data protection and safeguarding guidelines
* Develop and implement care plans for students with ongoing health concerns
Qualifications and Skills:
* Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with valid NMC registration
* Previous experience working with young people or in a school/education setting preferred
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage confidential health records
* Passion for supporting young people’s health, well-being, and personal development
