An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Compliance Manager to join one of the leading FM companies within the UK.
The role is responsible for effectively leading and managing the technical teams to ensure maintenance service to the highest standard within the agreed service levels. This role will be responsible for overseeing the EQS's.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times and develop a good working relationship with the Site and Maintenance Technicians and the customer's employees.
2. Ensure that all sites are covered for maintenance services, including Reactive and PPM.
3. Create and Monitor technicians through discipline technical matrix.
4. Be the first point of contact for Technicians for system related queries and escalations.
5. Monitor weekly timesheet returns for your team.
6. Carry out management duties within the designated area.
7. Complete specified reports and compliance documentation and take action on any issues raised.
8. Audit FM documentation and action on any non-compliance issues.
9. Deal promptly with all Help Desk calls and ensure that the issues are resolved effectively, escalating where necessary to the appropriate management level.
10. Monitor parts spends in the region and highlight areas of concern.
11. Participate in the recruitment and selection process of Technician vacancies.
12. Comply with health & safety legislation and Company processes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Electrical competency qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds).
2. A working knowledge of the maintenance service within the FM industry is essential, with previous working knowledge of a multi-client contracted environment being desirable; and PPM and compliance background.
3. Completion of work to meet any industry standards of compliance.
4. Previous experience of effectively leading a team is desired.
5. Strong PC literacy, with experience in reporting, collating and delivering performance data along with a good understanding of the Mercury system.
6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Excellent planning, organising, prioritisation and customer service skills, with a helpful customer-focused manner.
8. Strong results focus, takes accountability for own performance and that of the team.
9. Effective problem-solving and decision-making.
10. Highly flexible and self-starting. The role will have many challenges and a flexible approach will be needed.
Salary / Package
Basic Salary - Circa £55,000
Bonus - 20%
