Temporary Accounts Assistant
£13-£14 per hour
Redditch
Monday to Friday / 9am - 2pm
Temporary - 6 months
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Credit control, via invoicing, monthly statements & chasing overdue invoices
2. Balance sheet reconciliations to include bank accounts
3. Preparation of VAT Returns for review
4. Process customer invoicing & creditor payments
5. Assist in the overall preparation & presentation of quarterly & annual accounts
6. Check customer ID and contracts
7. Process card payments
8. Payment allocation on Sage
9. Resolve customer queries on telephone & email
10. Support the Account Manager as required
KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES:
1. Knowledge using SAGE is a must
2. Strong Organiser & Multi-Tasker
3. Problem solving and 'can do' approach
4. Attention to detail - meticulous, thorough, and right first-time mentality
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
6. Ability to work independently
