Key Responsibilities:
* Minimum one year experience as a Deputy Manager: Preferably Autism/ Learning Disability Experience.
* UK Driving Licence
* Strong management and leadership abilities.
* NVQ level 5 diploma or equivalent achieved or you will be working towards this qualification.
The deputy care manager will work alongside the registered care manager and is a working member of the team. Responsibilities include:
* Management of the home;
* Maintenance of high standards of service user care and support;
* Monitoring of the performance of staff;
* Ensuring that high standards are maintained;
* Providing adequate rota cover;
* Working unsociable hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
You will perform a supervisory, team-leading role and undertake performance management for all employees. You will be responsible for leading and managing staff to ensure they perform their roles safely and to the best of their ability.
The deputy care manager will assist the registered care manager and the senior management team in the day-to-day management and running of the service, including forward planning, and is expected to act in the best interests of the business as advised.
You will follow company policies and procedures, consider the service users' well-being, and make decisions acting in their best interest, having knowledge and understanding of the Mental Capacity Act.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.50 per hour
