We are looking for a newly or recently qualified Speech and Language Therapist with an interest in community adults to join our Adult SLT Team, covering the current post holders maternity leave.
The post is likely to be focused around the north of the county, although there may be a requirement to travel elsewhere in Wiltshire. The post will focus on a mixed adult caseload, including stroke, progressive disorders, voice and mental health for 2 days a week based at Chippenham Hospital.
Main duties of the job
The role will focus predominantly on working with a wide range of communication difficulties, although there may also be some opportunities to develop dysphagia skills, with appropriate clinical supervision from specialist colleagues.
We are supporting a digital first model for our community work, but also provide face to face outpatient clinics and domiciliary visits.
You will need to demonstrate an interest in a varied and sometimes challenging caseload and demonstrate a flexible approach to new initiatives.
