Cable & Splicing Services (CASS) is a leading telecommunications business, established for over 26 years in the UK, and we are now looking to recruit an experienced telecommunications trainer as soon as possible.
This is a great, varied and exciting position within our 330 people strong business, where you will make a real impact and difference. For the right person, we will look at making this role a part-time, freelance or a full-time permanent position.
You will be joining an established Training Team, with great systems and processes already in place, and we just need that extra great person to help us train all our great telecommunication engineers.

As a Trainer, based out of our Warwickshire Head Office and part of our growing CASS Academy Team, you will design and deliver training courses to a high level ensuring best practices are implemented with good quality of work and health & safety practices that are up to the normal high CASS standards.

Role Description:
* Deliver and develop training courses, evaluate delegates against the quality standards for the given qualification(s) and oversee theory and practical assessments. You will provide feedback on candidates’ performance, write reports, and ensure accurate, consistent, and detailed paperwork is completed in line with quality assurance guidelines.
* Assess the effectiveness and success of the training courses and make any improvements, amendments or updates as needed.
* Work with the training team, operational departments and external customers to ensure relevant real-life ready, quality training is delivered to all delegates, and provide any support needed to allow delegates to develop new skills and drive company reputation and client base.
* Post-training follow-up including gathering information and ideas/improvements for future training.
* Actively promote the UK leading CASS Academy.
* Hold, or be working towards Training, Assessment and Quality Assurance qualifications recognised by awarding bodies (TAQA, L3 CAVA, IQA etc.).
* Continuously seek new approaches, practices, and processes to improve the efficiency of the services the training school offers.
* Have a good understanding of Openreach, PIA, H&S and Smart Awards courses.
Skills & Experience:
* Excellent communication skills, particularly experienced in relationship building with key stakeholders and all levels of the business.
* Knowledge of the Telecoms industry is a must.
* Well organised and excellent time management.
* Experience developing and implementing training programmes.
* Ability to track the performance of training programmes, write reports and recommend strategies for improvement.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
