Are you a caring, compassionate person with previous care experience?
We’re looking for a waking night shift carer to join our small team of carers looking after a wonderful, fun-loving gentleman in his fifties, living with his parents in Armitage. The role is for 3 nights per week, from 9:30pm - 6:30am. Some weekend working may be required.
Despite his complex health conditions (including Cerebral Palsy, Scoliosis, Dysphagia and Sleep Apnoea amongst others), he is always smiling and is a joy to care for.
A typical night shift will include settling the gentleman into bed, fitting a urinary sheath and night bag, monitoring him throughout the night via a monitor, and attending his room for things such as repositioning, suction, and personal care.
BENEFITS
In return for your dedication, you’ll receive a competitive rate of pay in addition to:
* 5.6 weeks holiday per year (pro-rata for part-time positions).
* Company pension scheme after 3 months’ service, subject to the scheme rules.
* Opportunity to join our Cash Back Health Plan, after successful completion of the probation period.
* Free training and development for all roles.
* Access to wellbeing and support tools.
* ‘Star of the Month’ rewards and ‘Long Service Awards’.
And so much more!
