Visual Merchandising Coordinator

As a Visual Merchandising Coordinator you will contribute to the development and implementation of Visual Merchandising activities that support the brand and commercial objectives of H. Samuel & Ernest Jones.
You’ll work closely with the Marketing, Buying, Merchandising and Store Teams to ensure in-store visual designs successfully reflect brand, product and sales objectives and are consistently implemented. With the support of the Visual Merchandising Lead you’ll also be responsible for proposing and implementing the visual strategy across multiple stores, ensuring Visual Merchandising schemes and activities are aligned with the brand content calendar and delivered on time.
About the role:
* Supporting the Visual Merchandising Lead on the development, creation and delivery of POS, display and window props, setting new standards for the product portfolio to elevate the brand.
* Developing and delivering VM activities with a focus on improving VM standard and display.
* Ensuring there is cohesion across all creative elements to deliver ROI and elevate the brand.
* Develop new product-appropriate display elements which are practical for store use.
* Support the delivery of product launches.
* Work with the Buying and Merchandising teams to validate any extensions or new lines against the current display, identifying any changes to display kit, POS and plans and communicating changes.
* Ensuring layout principles are consistently implemented in store.
* Support new store openings and refits by implementing a consistent and brand appropriate approach to product presentation for each new / refitted store and support the onsite visual merchandising of stores where necessary.
* You will be based five days a week in our Croxley Park (Watford) office. Please do be aware that due to the nature of this job, hybrid working is not an option for this role.
About you:
* Demonstrable working knowledge of retail visual merchandising or relevant or related qualification desirable.
* Demonstrable knowledge of visual merchandising trends and best practices essential and portfolio of own visual displays desirable.
* Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite with demonstrable working knowledge of InDesign essential.
* Proven ability to manage and prioritise work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* High level of attention to detail.
